Hitachi GST achieves a major capacity milestone with the launch of the1TB drive.

The Deskstar™ 7K1000, also available in 750GB, is in response to the ever increasing demands of consumers for higher capacity drives to store digital personal data.

The Hitachi Deskstar™ 7K1000 3.5-inch drive uses second-generation PMR technology to achieve this high capacity point and assure stability. With its 7200 RPM and serial ATA interface, this drive is for gaming and high performance PCs as well as external storage devices and PC upgrades.
