Milestones:

1997

  • Company started and known as the removable enclosure supplier in the storage industry

2001

  • Pioneered 1st generation hybrid SCSI-to-IDE RAID controller with LCD read-out and subsystems in both desktop tower and rackmount form factors

2002

  • (03/2002) Announced 1st generation UltraStor line of enterprise storage systems targeted at professional level of data intensive storage applications
  • (05/2002) Began supplying series of external storage enclosures to major OEM vendors world-wide, such as Fuji Film, IBM, GE Medical, Philips, etc

2003

  •  (04/2003) Enhance Technology won the prestigious 10th Annual Mario Award for UltraStor RS2080 in NAB 2003; the SCSI-to-IDE external enterprise RAID storage subsystem

2004

  • (04/2004) UltraStor RS2080 high performance enterprise RAID storage systems is the only SCSI-to-IDE based systems certified by Leitch(Harris) to run VelocityQ product line, an advanced multiple-stream non-linear editing system

2005

  • (05/2006) Established Asia Division Office at Taipei metro area in Taiwan

2007

  • (03/2007) Began non-franchised agreement with Bell Microproducts, Inc. whereby Bell Micro will make the Enhance Technology portfolio of extensive storage product lines available to VARs and Resellers in the U.S.

2008

  • (08/2008) Unveiled UltraStor RS16 JS Enterprise JBOD storage array at Next Generation Data Center/LinuxWorld 2008, which is designed to provide storage expansion to the award winning RS Series or to be connected to a host independent HBA.

2009

  • (02/2009) VMware certified UltraStor iSCSI IP SAN Arrays on its ESX Server 3.5 for storage virtualization which improves resource utilization, consumes less energy,  simplifies management, and increases efficiency, flexibility, performance, & scalability on network storage environment for enterprise & SMB
  • (08/2009) Established European branch office Enhance Technology GmbH in Germany

2010

  • (01/2010) Entered into a franchised contract agreement with Bell Microproducts, Inc. as U.S. distribution channel whereby Bell Micro will distribute the Enhance Technology portfolio of storage products to VARs and Resellers in the U.S.
