Bell Microproducts Inc. and its subsidiaries (“Bell Micro”) respect your privacy.  This policy addresses Bell Micro’s practices with respect to the collection, use and disclosure of personal information.

We will not sell, rent, lease or otherwise transfer any personal information to individuals or entities outside of us or one of our authorized partners or resellers without your approval.

Users may always "opt out" of further promotional contacts at any time and be removed from our mailing lists by sending us your request to unsubscribe-16390@uptilt.com.  Also, upon request, we will take reasonable efforts to delete a user’s personal information from our database.  It may be impossible to delete a user’s entry without some residual information because of backup and record retention requirements.

When accessing our website, we will learn certain information about you during your visit.  How we will handle information we learned about you depends upon what you do when visiting our site.

For site security purposes and to ensure that this service remains available to all users, we use software programs to monitor network traffic to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, or otherwise cause damage.

Information About You

We do not collect personally identifiable information about individuals who visit our site except when the information is specifically provided on a voluntary basis.  Such instances where personally identifiable information may be gathered are contest or sweepstakes registration, the registration for subscription sites or services and in connection with content submissions, chat rooms, suggestions, voting/polling activities and transaction areas.

If you identify yourself by sending us an e-mail containing personal information, then the information collected will be solely used to respond to your message.

We, or one of our authorized partners or resellers, may contact you regarding our products or related services.  Our customers may receive information from us or one of our authorized partners or resellers regarding special events, press releases, news of complementary products from our strategic partners, and/or product-specific technical information including security bulletins and notifications of upgrades.

Minors

Bell Micro does not target its website to children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13.  In the event Bell Micro determines that a person with respect to whom it has collected personally identifiable information is under the age of 13, Bell Micro will promptly delete or destroy that information.
